A couple more valentines

Hi Everyone,

As I mentioned in my last post I scrap lifted Mary's card style from Stamp TV.  I have a couple more that I did.

I think these came out so cute, thank you Mary for the inspiration.  My daughter in law, and granddaughter loved them so that's what is really important to me.
I hope you all are warm, I heard that here we may have a 50 degree day this week, I'm excited.

Valentines Day

Hello Everyone,

Valentines Day is almost here, I have a son who lives out of town as many of you know, so for them I made a card for each of them.  I used Mary's idea over at Cards tv for the design of the card, thank you Mary for the inspiration.

My silhouette was used to cut the puppy holding the heart from the print and cut version, which is really a fun option with the silhouette.  This one is for my grandson, I hope he likes it.
Have a great day everyone.

Happy Monday

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all warm and dry, here it is still cold and snowing, what a winter.

Anyway the card I wanted to show you today is one that I colored using my Bic Mark Its, and I have to say that I like the soft coloring technique that comes from the copic markers.

Again I used purl card stock on White Papertray Ink Card Base.  I wish everyone a great day.

Where did January Go?

Good Morning Everyone,

I lost January, but I really don't want to go back to find it, lets just move right along to February.
I've been busy using my silhouette to do some layouts, I get great inspiration from some favorite bloggers one being ScrappinJen31, she does some wonderful layouts.  The other one is Faith Abigal designs, another really great inspiration for me.

I've also been busy with my grandkids, they are just the best part of my life, anyone who's a grandma knows what I'm saying.

I have made a couple cards that I will share with you here, and a video coming up as soon as I learn how to edit, lol...

Here is my first card.

Sarah Kay Designs is the stamp, she has some really cute stamps this one is one of my favorites.  I chose to do the white nightgown with my copic markers that involves out lining the edge of the design in gray.  I layered this on some Paper tray Ink card stock, has anyone found a heavier base for a card, this card stock is just the best.
Hope you all have a wonderful day we are getting ready for some more snow that is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

Last Christmas Card of the Season

Good Morning Everyone,
I have one more card to share with you, this is the last card that I made for my daughter and her husband.  I give the kids money usually, and low and behold when I got to my dd I ran out of cards, so I whipped this one up.

I really like how this came out.  I used the snowman from Peachy Keen Stamps that I got a couple years ago, the merry christmas banner is stamped on one of Emma's banner die's.  Fussy cut the scarf, but colored everything else with my copic's.  I hope you all have a great day.

It's Party Day

Good Morning Everyone,

Although Lily's birthday was 2 days ago, today is her party with the family here at my house.  This afternoon she is having a spa day with 9 of her friends, how cute is that I really wish I could have gone to the spa.

I have a couple of gift card holders that I made for our 10 year old twin nephews.  Both have a kindle so we got them gift cards for their kindle.  I made the same gift card holder cards using the envelope punch board that I did before.

I used the same paper for each just switched it up a bit to make them a bit different.  As twins I imagine they get a lot of the same things.  But these two are very different little boys, and this Aunt thinks they are so special.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year, I've decided that I'm going to make all my gift tags starting next week.  I used cut wrapping paper pieces this year, truly not what people expect from a crafter.... So I will work on tags through out the year.
Hugs,
